Martin Luther King Day

Martin Luther King Day or Martin Luther King Day (also occasionally: Martin Luther King Jr. Day) is a memorial day in memory of the political activist and priest Martin Luther King, Jr. in the United States. It is celebrated on the 3rd Monday of January every year to be close to Martin Luther King's birthday, January 15th. In addition to being the only remembrance day in the US for a federal holiday and for an African-American person, it is one of the days of commemoration (and a federal holiday) dedicated to a single individual with only four.
